This product label on Trevarno Barrier Cream is the distinctive black of the Trevarno organic range with the company name in blue.

The perfume is subtle but pleasing as the jar is opened on this buttercream coloured cream. Other skin preparations are light to the touch, but this is a workhouse of a cream. Trevarno Barrier Cream is a heavy duty moisturiser to act as a barrier to protect the skin from external factors that could cause damage for example on hands, elbows and heels.

The skin is the largest organ of the body and it is important to maintain it in the best condition possible for comfort, and to help keep infection from entering cracked dry areas. This is particularly important to those suffering from sensitive skin or eczema.

During the cold winter months exposed skin needs extra care. This Trevarno barrier cream can act as a preventative to chapped and cracked fingers. In the spring and summer gardeners, particularly those who can’t, or don’t like to work wearing gloves will find this barrier cream a boon.

As Trevarno Barrier Cream is a little heavier to apply I found that using a little at a time and allowing the warmth of the skin to help it to spread was the best method of providing enough protection without waste or excessive use of this beautiful cream. The treated skin feels moist and comfortable without being sticky.
