Trevarno Organic Day Cream Reviews

Review of Trevarno Organic Day Cream
By Gillian L

Packaging: Trevarno Organic Day Cream comes very attractively and ecologically packaged in a pink glass, screw topped jar contained in a box : both are recyclable and the jar very pretty to keep for other products or for travelling. I loved the pink, white and black jar and label which is very contemporary and would appeal to all ages. I also liked that the ingredients are listed on the box which is not always the case with beauty products. This lets you check for ingredients before purchasing.

Application: This Organic Day Cream or make up base is very easily absorbed, even though it feels quite rich in texture. It is suitable for all skin types and caused no irritation or itching to my chemically sensitive skin. Lovely as a hand cream also.

Ingredients: Trevarno products are produced in the UK(Cornwall) from the highest quality ,certified organic ingredients. The cream contains vitamin E, organic lavender flower water, oil, jojoba oil, the herb St John’s Wort, sesame with carrot oil , Grapefruit seed extract and essential oils of Lavender, Geranium and Palmerosa.

Results: I used the cream morning and evening on my face and neck and was very pleased with the results. It left my skin looking visibly softer and also healed up a long term patch of eczema on my neck. Although it says it is a day cream it could easily be used as a light night cream for anyone not needed a rich night cream. It has a wonderful, delicate scent which I loved. I am very sensitive to scents but this caused no problems. I would definitely recommend Trevarno Organic Day Cream to anyone who has sensitive skin.

Pros

Certified organic and ethically sound for those of us who don’t want to harm the environment.

Attractive ,reusable and recyclable packaging

Great value for money as only a little is needed

Suitable for all skin types and especially sensitive

Packaging makes it appealing for all ages.

Cons

I cant think of any drawbacks except that the floral/herbal scent ,although delicate may not appeal to everyone or suit those who need unscented products.

Barefoot Botanicals Barrier Hand Cream Reviews

Review of Barefoot Botanicals SOS Barrier Hand Cream
By Sandra chabas

Packaging: Barefoot Botanicals SOS Barrier Hand Cream is a full size (50ml) hand cream filled in a plastic tube. It is very light to carry but the packaging doesn’t show detailed ingredients.

Scent: The SOS Barrier Hand Cream Scent is rather pleasant, it has a very subtle warm vanilla and floral smell and indeed very nice in winter.

Ingredients: I love the organic ingredients in this hand cream, such as neroli, chamomile and frankincense which are all very moisturising and anti-aging. The lavender gives a relaxing scent while the jojoba makes it so easy to absorb to my skin. I looked up to the website for detailed ingredients and the best thing is no chemicals, parabens, nasty preservatives at all in this cream and in any Barefoot Botanicals Products.

Result: I am definitely a hand cream person because I have extremely dry and sensitive hands. I have at least five tubes of hand creams because my hands simply get dried too easily. Over the years, I have developed terrible rash because of the chemical packed hand creams I had used. But Barefoot Botanicals SOS Barrier Hand Cream, as well as a lot of organic hand creams, is simply lovely. I haven’t got any allergy after using this hand cream and it was like forming a coating on my hands after applying it.

It is easily absorbed and not a heavy cream. Though I have to re-apply it several times a day when the heating is on. I think for dry hands like mine, this hand cream will be excellent in the summer. For others, it may be all right to use in winter. The only problem is that the regular retail price £12.95 is very expensive for a 50ml hand cream, however, the bargain price at £6.95 is money well spent.

Pros:
Easily absorbed.
Hydrating.
Full of organic ingredients and no parabens or chemicals.

Cons:
Expensive.
Need re-apply for people who have dry hands.
